To fly to Dumfries & Galloway from Europe or the USA, the airports at Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle are all within 2 hours drive. Manchester Airport is approximately 3 hours drive to the south for an even wider choice of flights, especially to the USA.
No-frills airlines fly most of the UK to Scotland routes. Scot Airways, Ryanair and Easyjet offer a great choice of cheap flights to the airports close to Dumfries and surrounds.
