We enjoy having people in our home and welcome you with a cup of tea and cake by the fire when you arrive. There are 2 bedrooms and you can relax in the drawing room and breakfast in the dining room. There are books to read or borrow, info on local places we like visiting, and OS maps too. There is lots of light, and usually sunshine, with great views from the windows of our donkeys, hens, cattle and sheep.
This is quiet, rural southwest Scotland with big skies, fantastic light, undulating hills for walking and bird watching and a craggy coastline ideal for smugglers! Wonderful beaches for fun, moorland, wetland and woods for wildlife galore, lochs and sea for sailing, gardens that benefit from the Gulf Stream and towns full of history and character, well-known for the artists that still flock here, not to mention stunning golf courses. What more could you want? Only your hosts - whose aim it is to understand your needs and fulfill them!
