To reach the port by road, from the south, follow the A75 from Gretna Green, through Dumfries & Galloway and directly to the Port. From the north, the A77 coast road travels from Ayr & Glasgow into Stranraer. The ferry terminal is clearly signposted on the approaches to Stranraer.
The station at Stranraer Harbour offers easy access to the ferry. Direct trains run regularly from Glasgow, approximately two hours journey time, with some direct trains also from Carlisle, around a four hour journey.
National Express coaches arrive & depart from the Stena Line terminal with direct coaches from Carlisle & Glasgow, both around two and a half hours away.
