Located in a small gorge on the Edradour burn, Black Spout" is a stunning waterfall, around 150f in height.
The waterfall is situated in the Black Spout Wood, south of the highland resort town of Pitlochry. The walk to the Black Spout waterfall is easily accessible, on foot, from the centre of Pitlochry. The path to the Spout takes you through a variety of mixed woodland and passes many places of natural beauty. Benches are provided where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Close to the waterfall, a carefully positioned viewing platform offers dramatic views.
The walk is 2-3 miles long and parking and toilet facilites are available at Pitlochry. A leaflet describing this walk is available from Pitlochry Tourist Information Centre.
