Pitlochry Hydro-Electric Power Station is famous for it’s salmon ladder, which enable salmon to by-pass the dam and make their way upstream. An observation chamber allows visitors to watch the salmon as the make their epic journey upstream. Approximately half a million visitors go to the dam and fish ladder every year, making it one of the top attractions in Scotland.
