Birsay and Evie are both fascinating locations found in the northwest corner of Orkney's Mainland.

Like much of the Orkney Islands, any direction you may chose to venture you will be constantly reminded of the long and rich heritage native to the area.

  • The village of Evie is a wild and windswept coastal parish; while Birsay was once the centre of Norse power and exhibits some fine ancient relics.
