Inverness Airport is the main airport for the Highlands & Islands for local flights and connecting to hub airports for transatlantic and worldwide destinations. Located on the Scottish mainland with flights to London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow plus regional services within the Highlands & Islands. Helicopters, charter and business flights also use the airport. This is one part of Britain where the easiest, sometimes only way to travel is by plane.

About 10 miles east of Inverness, at Dalcross on the main Inverness-Aberdeen trunk road, the airport is essential for local communities but is also a hub for island hopping flights.
