Although a port city, passenger ferries do not run to and from Edinburgh. Rosyth is the nearest passenger ferry terminus, 15 miles from Edinburgh, north of the Firth of Forth. The drive takes 25 minutes on the A985 and A90 over the Forth Bridge.
