  • Route - A77 signposted Ayr, onto M77 for Glasgow & M8 over the Clyde to the city centre
  • For ferries to Glasgow and Strathclyde, there are a number of routes across the Irish Sea, the North Sea, or the English Channel, with easy rail and road routes to the region.

The nearest ferries to Europe depart from Newcastle on the English east coast, sailing overnight. The English south coast ports offer a wide choice of short channel crossings but involve a long drive to your Scottish destination.
