Maybe I’m a snob, but the idea of staying in a B&B Victorian seaside hotel didn’t really appeal to me. I’m a travelling salesman and have stayed at a few hotels, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a hotel. I was recommend by my retailer to stay there and at £40 per night including breakfast I was expecting a very modest accommodation, However what I received was as good as some four star hotels that I have stayed at. My room (1) was spotlessly clean on the second floor with a sea view. The room was well equipped with double bed as well as a single bed in it so quite a large room. In fact I was so impressed that I started to look for something to criticize and all I could come up with after scrutinising the room and ensuite was a few dead bugs in the ceiling light fixture and some of the décor was not to my taste, but hay if everyone looked as hard as I did, I’m sure you can find fault even with a five star hotel. Highly recommended
