Christchurch and Ringwood lie near the Hampshire border and offer a variety of attractions for the visitor. A glorious coastal path leads from Christchurch back towards Bournemouth and you really should check-out the views from the Henigstbury Head observation point. The town attractions include the Red House Museum & Gardens, Stanpit Marsh Nature Reserve and the Museum of Electricity. If spending quiet days on the banks of a river are your thing, head for the River Avon in Ringwood where there is great trout fishing to be had.
