  • The Bournemouth to Bridport region has excellent road links to all of the UK. There are no motorways within the region; however the M27, linking Southampton with Portsmouth, is easily accessible via the A31. The M27 connects with the M3 at junction 4, a few miles north of Southampton, offering a quick and easy route into London.

The A35 and A337 pass through the built up town of Bournemouth, with the A35 heading west to Lyme Regis, passing through Poole, Dorchester and Bridport. The A337 travels east towards the coastal towns of Christchurch & Lymington.

The A338 links these coastal towns with Bournemouth International Airport before merging with the A31 and travelling north-east to Southampton. The towns of Purbeck and Swanage are located en-route to the less built up area of Durlston Head, along the A351 from Wareham.
