The port is managed and controlled by the Weywmouth and Portland Borough Council. The ferry terminal is less than a mile from the town centre and can easily be reached from the A35, which connects Exeter & Honiton to the west, and Poole & Bournemouth to the east.

Limited facilities are available at the terminal, with just a small store offering snacks and newspapers.

  • Daily crossing to St Helier in Jersey, a crossing time of three hours 35 minutes
  • Daily crossings to St Peter Port in Guernsey, a crossing time of two hours 15 minutes
