Overview

A magnet amongst artists for it's beautiful surrounds, Bosham is most popular as a yachting centre. It also provides the second largest marina in Britain.

Offering superb facilities in a beautiful environment, the town is also steeped in history. Most notable as the place from which King Harold II set out on his ill-fated expedition to Normandy.

During the summer the harbour villages are thronged with sailing folk, but these are places that have much to offer visitors at all seasons.

  • Chichester Harbour lies west of Chichester, with an entrance from the English Channel between Selsey and Hayling Island. It covers twenty-seven square miles of navigable water and provides some of the most rewarding scenery in the south of England.
