  • The Solent to Bognor region has excellent road links to all of the UK. The M27 & A27 serve the majority of the region, running from Southampton, east along the coast to Portsmouth, passing the town of Fareham and providing access to the M25 London orbital via the M3. From Portsmouth the A27 continues east along the coast towards Chichester and on to Bognor Regis. The New Forest is more rural than the rest of the region and therefore has few major roads.

The A335 from Junction 5 of the M27 provides easy access to Southampton International Airport.

The Isle of Wight has just a few main A-roads running between the major coastal towns of Cowes, Newport & Ryde.
