Coburns wine bar/bistro seems to be the best I have eaten in in this small little village. I tried many of the other restaurants but this is simply the best.
The new fine dining menu is sheer bliss top quality food all straight from the local area.
The managers mark and sharon are very welcoming even on their night off! They have very attentive staff and table service is even better as many pubs in the forest you have to get up to do everything
I truly enjoyed my 3 course meal of tempura battered prawns with a chilli dip, a main course of port with superb apples sauted pots and veg my dessert to top it all of was a great cheese board with a selection of brie stilton and apricot and cheddar with a nice glass of the house red wine!!
I definatley reccommend coburns to every body
