Ringwood is a market town in Hampshire on the western fringes of the New Forest. It is also positioned on the Avon Valley footpath, which makes it a great spot for walking and riding.

It is an ancient settlement that received its charter in the 13th century and the Duke of Monmouth was captured nearby and held prisoner in the White Hart Inn after his unsuccessful attempt to claim the throne.

  • Ringwood is also known for extremely good trout fishing in the River Avon.
