Blue Reef Aquarium 

The Blue Reef Aquarium is located in Southsea, Portsmouth and was voted Visitor Attraction of the Year by Tourism South East. Situated on Clarence Esplanade, between the two piers overlooking the busy Solent, Blue Reef Aquarium is a great visit whatever the weather.

Be amazed by animals ranging from local marine species to the hundreds of tropical fish in the gigantic ocean display complete with underwater tunnel. With over 30 living displays featuring fascinating marine life from around the world, Blue Reef has plenty to offer all visitors.

• The aquarium provides a fun learning opportunity along with plenty of great visual entertainment and are also involved in a number of conservation and captive breeding programmes for a variety of species. The aquarium offer guided tours, which can, with prior notice, cover specific curriculum topics including everything from Art to Habitats to Shapes or Pollution. Tours are led by trained aquarists with expert knowledge of the displays and their inhabitants and really help to bring the topics to life.
