Bettering yourself with a new language or re-training for a new career is as rewarding as it is challenging. Education in Britain is available to all, and adult courses are no exception. There are hundreds of schools up and down the country that (for a fee) will teach you how to speak Spanish, French, Italian, Welsh, Japanese, and even Russian.
There are schools and courses on how to cook and how be a cordon bleu chef, how to teach English as a foreign language (TEFL), how to become a carer (HND, NVQ) and how to use computers.
When enrolling for courses bear in mind that it doesn’t have to be a time consuming and/ or costly pursuit, unless you are really committed to a life change courses can be done long distance in the form of a correspondence or Open University course, night courses are easy to get places on and part time is a viable option for some. |
