The Hay Festival, set in the quiet town of Hay-on-Wye on the Wales/England border, is hosted during the end of May each year. Since it's conception in 1988 by a young actor named Peter Florence, the Hay Festival has grown steadily to become the largest literary festival in the world, attracting some of the greatest writers, film-makers, actors and comics to speak as guests.
