For ferry travel from Europe to Anglesey in the north of Wales, fast motorways, intercity trains and National Express coaches, make the onwards journey easy from the main UK south coast ferry ports at Portsmouth and Southampton.

  • The main Welsh port at Holyhead on Anglesey has ferries to Dublin and Belfast in Ireland with Stena Line and Irish Ferries. Choose between travelling as a foot passenger or take the car on the traditional RoRo Ferries (Roll On Roll Off); there are also high speed Sea Cats (Catamarans).

Routes include Holyhead to:

  • Dublin Port - north of the city
  • Dun Laoghaire - south of Dublin Bay
  • Belfast
