The station is just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Regular trains are available to Shrewsbury and Birmingham. Direct service operates to Birmingham only; all other trains require change at Birmingham or Shrewsbury.

This is a staffed station and tickets and information can be obtained from the booking office. Opening times are 06:20 to 17:25 Monday to Friday, 06:20 to 15:20 Saturday, closed Sunday.
