Cenarth is most well know for the waterfall, which broaches the River Teifi. For this reason it has been popular since the Victorians discovered it and set about popularising it in their paintings. There is no doubt that it is a lovely spot, but in a pretty rather than dramatic way. There is also well-restored 17th century flourmill by the waterfall. In summer it can become overcrowded so go early in the day if you want to appreciate the place at its best.

• Cenarth is perhaps less well known for the National Coracle Centre. It actually features coracles from all over the world, not just Wales so, if you are fan of small strange boats, be sure to stop by. If river craft aren't really your cup of tea then and if knitwear is then you're in luck - the small village also boast a Museum of the Welsh Woollen Industry.
