Theatr Colwyn & Cinema was originally a public hall built in the late 1800’s, it was used for public entertainment, featuring the best comedians of the time, pantomimes and plays. In 1908 the theatre was used as a drill hall for the local Territorial Army and then continued to become the town’s first picture house.
