The Welsh north coast resorts - Rhyll, Llandudno and Prestatyn - are easy to travel to from Europe, England and Ireland.

To fly to the north Coast of Wales, the airports at Manchester (50 miles) and Birmingham (80 miles) are approximately 1 to 2 hours drive away.

Liverpool airport is 38 miles from Wrexham, less than 50 mins drive or 1 hour 30 mins by Airlink coach and train.

The port at Holyhead, approximately 40 miles west of Llandudno and the port at Liverpool, 40 miles north-east of Wrexham, offer ferries to Ireland.

The A55 expressway runs along the north coast from Wrexham to Bangor, passing through tunnels hewn out of the mountains which rise almost straight out of the sea into Snowdonia.

The main north coast train line also hugs the coast with trains direct from Chester, Birmingham and Shrewsbury, with onward connections to all parts of the UK.
