The north coast of Wales has excellent local train services and links to London as well as the rest of the UK. To travel by train along the coast, between Chester in the east to Llandudno in the west, past Prestatyn, Rhyll and Colwyn Bay, takes less than an hour and gives great views of the coast and inland mountains.
