Several bus operating companies serve the area. The main bus companies - Arriva and BWS Gwynedd - are co-ordinated by Denbighshire and Flintshire County Councils. Special summer buses include the Coastrider between Wrexham, Mold and Rhyl and the Clwydian Ranger Leisure Bus Service Network. The Clwydian Ranger bus travels between Prestatyn, Rhyl, Wrexham, Mold and Chester to the country park at Loggerheads and over the Horseshoe Pass to Llangollen.
