This is a must for all ladies

Posted by a TotalTraveller from Malpas Cheshire, United Kingdom

My husband bought me a full day Pamper package for my birthday. I rang to book in February this year (2007) and Barbara was very obliging on the telephone and sent me a brochure through the post. I was most impressed.

I travelled from Malpas in Cheshire and found the directions very easy. On entering the long driveway up to the house (Can-Yr-Afon) I was left breathless by the river and the ford, getting out of the car was like getting out of another world or time zone. You are completely surrounded by nature.

After meeting Barbara and going through the medical questionnaire, I went into one of the treatment rooms and was blown away by the decor, an all egyptian theme.
The treatments were magical and I was treated like a princess all day. Lunch was provided and at the end a Chocolate fountain with fruit. What more can I say. I have booked in again this time with my friend Sarah in April. An absolute professional service and a pleasure to be in Barbara's company.

Forget these big Spa's this is totally breathtaking

Posted by a TotalTraveller from Malpass, United Kingdom

My employer gave me a full day at Elexandria Connections as a thank you for the work I have put in this year. I was a little apprehensive as I had previously been to a large Spa in Chester.

When I arrived I was blown away with the sheer tranquillity as Alexandria Connections is tucked away down a single track road (easy to find) down on the beautiful setting of the River Clywedog. When I got out of the car you can hear the River and the birds singing.

Barbara greeted me and settled me immediately with her warm smile and aura. I chose a relaxing programme of treatments named after Cleopatra and all I can say is I can't wait to go back.

Throughout the day I was treated like a Princess. The refreshments were very nice, fruit was available throughout the day and lunch was wonderful.

The finale (yes it gets better) was a fantastic Chocolate Fountain treat with Bannana, Strawberries and Marshmellows!

Ladies you may have to book ahead but this is an unbelievable experience and one which all Beauty retreats should follow.
