Prestatyn

Overview
Bookmark

Prestatyn is very much a holiday resort and, while not as loud as nearby Rhyl, it still has its fair share of candy floss, donkey rides on the beach and amusements.

Marking the northern end of Offa's Dyke, Prestatyn is a good spot to explore the nearby countryside.

  • Thought to be the oldest inhabited place in north Wales, the town still has remnants from its past littered around - there is a Neolithic mound known as The Gap and the remains of some Roman Baths.

Awards

  • Visit the beautiful Dyserth Waterfall
  • Visit The neolithic Gap or Roman Baths
  • Enjoy a round of golf on the championship Links Course
  • Take the kids to the Nova Centre with its indoor pools and helter-skelter slide
