The town of St Asaph is surrounded by countryside and views of the Vale of Clwyd. It is situated close to a number of busy coastal towns such as Rhyl, Prestatyn, Colwyn Bay and Llandudno. The historic castles of Denbigh and Rhuddlan are also nearby.
Here visitors will find much more than a convenient centre to visit the surrounding mountain, moorland and coastal attractions. The town can boast a history dating back at least to 560 AD, the smallest ancient Cathedral in Britain, riverside walks and, away from the bustling centre, the peace and tranquillity of the surrounding countryside with a wealth of interest.
With a colourful and rich heritage, glorious views over the Vale of Clwyd and in close proximity to some of the most spectacular scenery in Wales, St. Asaph is without doubt one of the most rewarding places to visit on the North Wales Coast.
