Cardiff airport, south Wales, 190 miles - 4 hours 30 mins drive to Bangor, is popular with travellers using Schiphol, Amsterdam as an international hub to world-wide destinations.
There are no scheduled internal flights within Wales although there is hope of a new north coast airport being built.
