Standing high above the town of Penmaenmawr is one of the finest stone circles in Wales. It is situated in a spectacular location with 360 degree views covering Anglesey, Menai Straight and extending to Snowdonia National Park. A prehistoric trackway from Bwlch-y-ddeufaen to Conwy runs by the circle.

  • This fantastic ring of around 30 stones has a portalled entrance consisting of 4 stones and according to Burl may have been raised as early as 3000BC. There are many walks around this area with lots of widlife to see; look out for the wild ponies that live on these hills.
