Hendre Isaf is set in a peaceful part of Snowdonia 6 miles from Betws-y-Coed, is available for private hire by groups and by negotiation is free for volunteers undertaking conservation work for the National Trust.

The property sleeps 17 in two dormitories on two floors, in a 400-year-old converted farm building of stone and slate construction situated on the Ysbyty Estate. The centre may be able to accommodate one person with special mobility needs - telephone for details of access.

  • Local attractions include the dry ski slope and Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre at Capel Curig, shops, leisure centre and swimming pool at Llanrwst, seaside resorts of Rhyl, Prestatyn and Llandudno.
