The Conwy Valley Railway Museum is adjacent to the railway station in Betws y Coed; built in the old goods yard next to St Michael’s church. There is a large selection of live steam locos, electric locos, wagons coaches and scenic materials, die cast cars, planes, airfix model kits, railway books videos and DVD are happy to mail-order to any where in the world.

Alan Pratt originally formed the Conwy Valley Railway Museum in the early 70s with a small exhibition in one of the standard gauge bogie coaches. A museum building was added followed by the installation of a 71/4-inch gauge railway in the shape of a dogs bone loop.

  • The museum has a MK1 coach as a small Café providing tea, coffee, biscuits and meals.
