Swallow Falls is located just outside Betws y Coed, opposite the Swallow Falls Hotel and YHA. The falls are a very popular attraction and there is ample parking at a lay-by and the Hotel car park. This beautiful attraction is a dramatic cascade formed on the River Llugwy.

  • If viewed on a day after heavy rain or a snow melt the falls will deliver maximum effect, providing a photo opportunity that can be savoured for many years. Access can be gained from the main road, with a small toll needed to access the viewpoint. For the more adventurous, stunning views of the falls can be gained by following the path from the town up the northern bank of the Llugwy.
