Beddgelert 

Beddgelert is set amongst scenery to rival that to be found in any part of the World. Situated amidst the mountains and lakes of Snowdonia, yet within easy reach of the coast and the main towns of Porthmadog and Caernarfon. Visit the grave of Gelert, the faithful dog of Prince Llewelyn, after who the village is named. Beddgelert is Welsh for Gelerts grave.

If you take a walk or drive towards Mount Snowdon you will travel through dramatic Nant Gwynant where the film 'Carry on up the Khyber' was filmed.
