My partners family have been to Trecco Bay every year for 20 years. I joined the tradition 7 years ago. The children love Porthcawl. We have been in April and October as well. It is right on the Beach, close to the fair and amusement arcade, bit of a walk to the town but gets you out of the caravan and tires the kids out.
Swimming pool, go karts, shops and chip shop are located on site. Nearest supermarket is Somerfields in town. Nice local people. Nice caravans, some are stunning. Loads with fenced off gardens and garden furniture. This is a cheap holiday when hired privately.
