Royal Porthcawl Golf Club is situated in fantastic position overlooking the Bristol Channel on the Coast between Cardiff and Swansea. The courses magnificent setting is great for a relaxing game of golf, with sloping hills and no sand hills enabling the golfer to see the sea form every hole on the course.
The course offers challenging game with holes facing in every point of the compass, meaning the player will always be tested by the wind. There have been many amateur and professional events held at the club including the Walker Cup, the Curtis Cup, the ladies British Open Amateur Championship and the Dunlop masters to name but a few.
