Marloes

Overview
Bookmark

Of the villages and destinations that comprise St Bride's Bay, the small hamlet of Marloes is not the most spectacular nor the prettiest, but it is wild countryside along a rugged stretch of coastline looking out towards the island of Skokholm just offshore.

There is also a wonderful, empty stretch of sand that you may almost be able to call your own. Well worth the trip out if you want to avoid the crowds in summer!

  • You can get boats to the three islands of Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm from St Martin's Haven at the end of the peninsula where the National Trust own a chunk of land called Deer Park (nothing to do with deer).
