West Country Travel Guide

St Micheals Mount - © Richard Bosomworth

The West Country is one of Britain’s loveliest regions, and because it enjoys the country’s best weather, it really comes into its own during the summer months. Boasting balmy resorts on the English Riviera, and rugged, windswept surf beaches on the Atlantic Coast, the West Country offers something for everyone. As well as glorious coastline, you will find some of the country’s oldest mythical sites, such as Tintagel and Glastonbury, and to round things off there are grand, ancient cathedral cities such as Bath & Wells.

His life and work will be celebrated throughout the year at many Burns-related events.
