One of the smaller Channel Islands, Alderney is the northernmost of the islands and only 8 miles from France. The Island offers a warm climate and fascinating heritage. It is very popular with walkers and cyclists because of it's unspoilt character.
Alderney measures just 3.5 miles by 1.5 miles. No ferries operate to the island but if you are planning a visit by plane the locals are very friendly. The majority of the population live in the tiny capital, St Anne.
