Every island is so wonderfully different. Jersey is lively but so sophisticated with lovely coves and beaches. Guernsey has the most beautiful capitol St Peter Port and lovely marinas. The town is full of pretty cafes. Sark is a mass of lovely cliffs with no cars, just horse and carts and tractors and pretty houses. Good places to eat. Herm is also traffic free and looks like the West Indies (there is so much sand). Alderney is difficult to get to but has a pretty French-style capital St Anne and some lovely beaches. It is remote though.
