Sandymouth Bay is a magnificent Cornish sandy beach bordered by pebbles and protected by colossal cliffs, providing the perfect place to getaway from the crowds.
The beach is great for exploring rock pools, and taking on the beach breaks ideal for surfing and body boarding. Being popular with surfers there are first aid facilities and also a lifeguard patrol.
The area is classed as a Heritage Coast and walking is recommended, but keep an eye on the tide. Some areas may be cut off by the incoming tide and the cliffs offer little escape.
