Overview

Portloe is a somewhat unique village in that it remains untouched by the modern age.

The village history lies in the fishing industry, this has largely died out with the exception of crab and lobster potting and recreational fishing, enhancing the traditional feel of the place.

  • This tiny hamlet is set in dramatic countryside surrounded by the cliffs of Veryan Bay. It has a small shingle beach that is big enough to sunbathe on and perhaps enjoy a dip in the sea.
