Porthpean Sailing club has a long and interesting history dating as far back to the 50’s. At the time is was being formed the country was struggling to get over the second world war, so no grants were available, so what the sailing club is today, owes a lot to the dedication, determination and vision of the founders.
The club provides great facilities to all that are interested in sailing. Competitions are held, and social meets happen on a regular basis. The club is a great way to socialise and meet new friends, offering a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
