Lerryn is a beautiful village located on the picturesque River Lerryn 10 miles northeast of St Austell. The village nestles in a valley and is surrounded by farmland and woodland, which offers lovely walks anytime of year.

Lerryn is reached via typically narrow Cornish lanes with their high-banked hedges and is just a couple of miles from the nearest town, Lostwithiel and the lovely port of Fowey is close by via a short ferry ride.

  • The river is tidal and can be navigated easily at high tide to Fowey or Lostwithiel or one of the small villages along the estuary. At low tide, the stepping-stones that link the two sides of the village are revealed.
