Tufters Riding Holidays 

Tufters offer a unique riding holiday experience. Whether you want a short break or a full week of riding, the business can make sure that your needs are catered for and that you get the maximum enjoyment out of your stay.

You can determine the amount of riding and the routes you want to take. Knowledgeable guides will ensure that you see the best parts of Exmoor that can only be reached on horseback. They also understand that you may want an experience that suits you and your riding ability.

• A typical day may involve being in the saddle for several hours, taking in the scenery and either stopping for a pub lunch or picnic mid-way, often giving you the chance to see large herds or red deer and Exmoor ponies at close range. When returning to Tufters, just hand over your horse and relax while you enjoy a traditional Exmoor tea.

If you prefer to bring your own horse on holiday then Tufters have a well appointed stable yard with good sized boxes, tackroom, turnout grazing and safe parking for trailers and lorries. Hay and straw and shavings can be provided (we offer DIY which includes hay and straw) FULL or part livery can be arranged.
