Moretonhampstead has the sleepy feeling of a place that stands still in time.
A great place to slow down the pace and enjoy the many interesting traditional shops and almshouses. Traditionally a market town, many visitors set up base here for exploring the eastern area of the park.
This isn't much in the way of outstanding sights in close proximity, but a pleasurable location all the same.
