Smack-bang in the middle of the Dartmoor National Park, the tiny village of Postbridge is an ideal location for walkers.

The charm of Postbridge is its remote setting. The village consists of little more than a few houses dotted along a main street.

Locals pride and interesting legends that (if you are lucky) will certainly come out over a cleansing ale. Without giving too much away, it is something along the lines of a haunted, tormented dog spirit.

  • If you know Conan Doyle's The Hound of Baskerville’s, you will get the gist.
